Totsbots was the first brand of nappies that we tried and I’ve found them to do exactly what they say on the tin. We’ve had the odd leak but generally they are really reliable. My husband loves the peenut system and along with Totsbots AIO, he’ll always reach for these.
Pads have obviously gotten more absorbent the more they’ve been used but I did find that my daughter always needed both pads together as she’s a heavy wetter. She’s 11 weeks now so I do worry that these perhaps won’t last her as long as I would like before we start getting leaks but we haven’t crossed that bridge yet.
The peenut wraps are lovely and providing they are clean and dry can be reused by just changing the peenut pads making them more financially friendly. They aren’t bulky either, something that puts me off with some nappies. A firm, reliable fave in our nappy stash.
Excellent service from TNL as always.

pads are great, but will take a few washes to get to better absorbency. Take a long time to dry inside which is why I didn't give full stars. dry much more quickly outside when possible.

Peanuts a great easy system 12 July 2020 | Karen
was using easy fits for nursery as the perfer the tab fastenings, but little boy was out wetting them within 1½ hours or they where wicking badly, so, decided to give these peanuts a go, they are great will go for 3 hours easily I dare say 4plus hours but generally would never leave him that long, they dry quickly, are simple to change and less in the nappy wash pile too as on average use one wrap to 3 sets of pads... in all, very absorbant and quick drying too

I brought these a month ago on recommendation from The Nappy Lady. I love the Peenut system, it is easy to use and relatively slimline which is great for my 3 month old.
The pads themselves are not as thick as I expected and seem to only be bamboo on the outside, the inside is microfibre, this doesn’t seem to be on the description of the pads , unless I missed it somewhere. I have washed and dried them a lot now (by the instructions) and i’m a little dissappointed at the finish of the pads. The overlocking around the edges is loose on all the pads and is coming away in little threads, the poppers are a little loose on some of them and one came off (pad was replaced by Nappy lady with no issues).
I don’t know if it’s just my baby but with both the ‘day to night’ pads in the nappy she soaks them in an hour, leading to leaks, meaning I have to change her frequently. If she has a nap she wriggles around a lot and the wet pools at the back of the pad. If she’s soaking them at 3 months I have no idea if they will work at all when she’s a toddler!
It’s a shame the stitching quality isn’t better. As i’m not sure they will last very long.

These in the peenut wrap are a lovely slim line nappy with lovely prints. These were my favorite from 6weeks - 9 months old. Since then I've had to boost with an additional triple layer insert to get 3 hours. I still am happy with them but i wouldn't say they are my most reliable.

I’m not a massive fan of the peenut nappy system if I’m honest, but I like the pads either to use as boosters in other nappies, or to pop into my bamboozle nappy 😊

These are great - I often use them separately - the small one during the day for my 9 month old and then the large one added as a booster to a terry towel / mother ease wrap system.
I dry them on a heated rail and take 24hours.

I got some peenut wraps to try with the bamboozle stretchies overnight for my 6 month old, and got some of these peenut pads at the same time. They are extremely easy to use with the wraps and the large pad lasted me a good three hours before it was saturated. However they get very messy with number two's and containment isn't great. I've ended up using these pads as boosters in my overnight nappies rather than as a daytime system and to that purpose they work very well. They are also quite compact in nappy bags so useful for being out and about, and they aren't bulky on baby.

Economical and easy system 31 October 2019 | Kathy
Love these combined with Peenut wrap for daytime use. Absorbent and fast drying plus it hasn’t cost the earth to buy enough to last between washes. A bit faffy when you’re out and about but you can get around that with more wraps or having some AIOs/pockets as part of your selection too. I love that these are UK made and environmentally conscious too.

I really like the absorbency of these. They don't take too long to dry and I use them as boosters in various different nappies and they seem absorbent. Although personally I probably wouldn't use them in just a wrap.

Soft, absorbent and not too bulky 02 July 2019 | Sarah
New to reusable nappies and was recommended the Peenut wrap and nappies from the advice questionnaire. I was very nervous about trying cloth nappies but I really wanted to give them a go. I'm so glad I did! The wrap and nappies fit our 8 month old perfectly. We have not had any leeks, day or night. So simple to use and to wash, which was another concern of mine. I think the designs are really cute as well! Our little one is quite long and average weight. I think she is an average wetter as well.
We use the Peenut nappy and wrap during the day with a fleece liner. At night we use the Bamboozle nappy and fleece liner with the Peenut wrap. No leeks and my baby's sensitive skin seems much happier since switching to these! Happy baby, happy Mum!

Very absorbent, bit bulky 27 March 2019 | Emily
I'm very new to washable nappies and still trying to figure out the best way forward. The pee-nut inserts are very absorbent, but you definitely need to stay on top of nappy changes to avoid a leakage...or maybe my little girl just wees a lot?! When you use the two layers together, it is very bulky on a newborn bum. They clean up well being washed at 60 with non-bio detergent, which is great! They do take a while to dry.

Makes Peenut system more affordable by needing less wraps. Pads dry quicker than totsbot easyfits. Very absorbent for daytime but never used for nightime. Took one star off as temd to leak out onto wrap for poo but so far has never leaked out of wrap. Need about 5 washes at least to get better absorbency. Not sure how fit will be later on as seem to be just right at 8 kg so may not be great for very long or chunky babies

I bought these to use as boosters with our bamboozle night-time nappies. They work fantastically! I find it's very useful that the poppers on these pads line up perfectly with the poppers on the bamboozle nappies. Makes a very versatile combination.

The PeeNut pads have been ok so far. They are very simple to use but there always feels like moment of jeopardy when I swap over the insert!
I do not find them as absorbent as the inserts of other wraps but seem comfortable. They are slow drying even in the current hot weather.

Fantastic product, great price 11 January 2016 | Marlene
A true birth to potty nappy system, right size and absorbent enough for my 2 years old (used with a booster for piece of mind). Excellent price from the nappy lady (best online price I have seen). Really chuffed
