Organic Reusable Nappies

Organic cotton nappies are some of the most eco friendly nappies you can use. The organic cotton is grown in an environmentally friendly way. There are not many organic washable nappies on the market due to the increased cost of the product.

Popolini Organic Nappies

Popolini make 100% organic modern cloth nappies in sizes from newborn nappies to toddler. Popolini are entirely organic cotton whereas some have a polyester weave to hold the shape of the nappy. Purely organic cotton tends to wear quicker than those with the polyester weave.

Popolini nappies all require a wrap over the top. For the most natural option a wool wrap is perfect however PUL wraps such as the Motherease Airflow is ultra simple and convenient to use and wash with all the nappies in one wash cycle.

Disana

Make a range of products made from natural and organic fabrics. The Disana tie on nappy is similar to terry nappies in that you need to fold it but you do not need any Nappi Nippas or pins as you tie it on baby with the organic straps. Disana is beautifully soft next to baby's skin. The Disana wool wraps and wool leggings are ideal additions to your natural nappies.

Thrive

Thrive organic cotton muslins are perfect for use as burp cloths and nappies

Eco Friendly

Remember all cloth nappies are better for the environment than conventional disposable nappies. Organic fabrics are created without harsh chemicals.

Bamboo nappies and hemp nappies are other popular natural fabrics however these are not organic due to the process for making the material.

Care & Washing

Washing organic cloth nappies is simple. Put your dirty nappies on a quick rinse cycle to flush them through. Then follow this with a long cotton wash up to 60deg. Use detergent as recommended by your nappy brand and no fabric softener. Ideally air dry or dry on low in the tumble drier.
