Petit Lulu Organic Maxi Night Overview

Petit Lulu Fluffy Organic Maxi Night is a specialist super absorbency nappy designed especially for night time.   The Fluffy Organic Maxi Night is not only highly absorbent and offers excellent containment  The Petit Lulu Classic Onesize nappy is a generous length making it an option for potentially taller children.  The nappies come in a variety of beautiful prints but remember you are going to put a cover over the top.

Sizing

Fits from 7-16kgs (15-35lbs)  This is NOT a nappy you will use from birth as it will be far too big. A child under 7kgs/15lbs shoud not need the high level of absorbeny that this nappy offers as a younger child will still be getting night time changes.

How do i use it?

The nappy adjusts in length by 3 rows of poppers on the front of the nappy, as baby grows you move to the next length setting until the full length is needed.  The waist fastens with a row of poppers and has cross over poppers on the tabs for a baby with a small waist.

1 long booster which is attachable into the nappy by poppers
1 loose short booster

Over the top the nappy needs a waterproof cover, our recommendation is the Petit Lulu Pull On Cover or the Motherease Airflow.

What else do i need?

You will also need to use a liner either paper or fleece inside the nappy.

Care & Warranty

Petit Lulu Care Guide

  • Prewash nappy twice before first use. It can take 6-10 washes to reach full absorbency
  • Dry pail do not soak nappies or covers
  • Wash every 2-3 days
  • Do not overload your washing machine or nappies will not get washed sufficiently
  • Wash with standard baby washing detergent. Not eco-friendly soap as often does not sufficiently wash nappies
  • No harsh stain removers or bleach.
  • No fabric softeners. They will reduce absorbency.
  • Wash no lower than 60 degrees.
  • Waterproof covers should not be spin-dried at more than 1000RPM
  • Line dry or tumble dry inserts on cool only if necessary as it will shorten the life of the product
  • Never tumble dry the waterproof covers
  • If using a nappy cream always use a nappy liner - ideally a disposable paper liner.

Petit Lulu offer a 24 month warranty from date of purchase not date of first use. Petit Lulu don’t accept claims due to stains, improper care or when simply worn out.  If you believe you have a faulty product please email us at The Nappy Lady with details of the problem and photos, Plus full details of your washing methods.

Petit Lulu warranty covers:

  • stitching
  • seams
  • snaps (poppers)
  • hook & Loop
  • elastic


Read their washing recommendations carefully as from our experience claims are frequently rejected and at The Nappy Lady we have really had to fight on behalf of our customers but we are not always successful.

Your warranty will be VOID if:

  • You washed BELOW 60°C
  • if you use Bleach
  • If you use Softener
  • If you use Eco-detergent as they aren't strong enough
  • If you overload your machine
  • If you use too much detergent
  • If covers or waterproof layers are spun greater than 1000rpm
  • If frequently tumbled dried or tumbled dried on high
  • If covers/waterproof layers are dried on a direct heat source such as a radiator
  • If you soaked your nappies
  • If left for more than 2-3 days before washing


Petit Lulu's decision on any warranty claim is final.

I have been trying out a variety of combinations for night nappies for my 6month old but every morning it has soaked through. This nappy is the first time we've been able to keep dry! He's obviously a heavy wetter and I've had to buy a few more now! Great nappy, wish I'd found sooner 😊

A brilliant nighttime nappy - I had been struggling with nighttime leaks until I found this nappy. Keeps my babies dry and is so soft. I wish I had found it sooner

These are great! No leaks despite being on for 11 hours! They are super absorbent (downside is they therefore take a while to dry, so you need at least 4 to make that work). We were just using the PL day nappies with extra boosters, but my son started wetting through at 5 months, so we bought these. Cute prints, very soft and easy to fit as they have a bit of stretch in the waist. As we already use PL SIOs, we were able to fit our PL wraps over the top, which is great. Recommended!

I was sent a Petit Lulu Fluffy Organic Maxi Night to review but these were already my go to night nappy for my toddler. We started using these when he was 5 months old, after getting leaks from a boosted Bamboozle. The Petit Lulu would go 13 hours overnight with just the long insert. Now he's older we use both inserts but they are still working really well for us.

Great nappies, highly recommended!

Being new to cloth nappies, I was really worried about night times. I needn't have been! We've been using the Petite Lulu Maxi Nights with the Petitle Lulu pull ups for 6 days and haven't had a single leak. Highly recommend, even for heavy wetters.

Great for toddler in daytime

We have found these nappies great for daytime use with a 17 month old who began to leak in the previously used cloth nappies. These nappies are so much more absorbent, though they aren’t enough for night time in our case. Definitely need washing at least 3/4 times before use as the absorbency increases with washes.

Lovely soft nappy and easy to use

I have now bought 3 of these as my night time option to use with an airflow over the top. I have previously used bamboo nappies with either nappy nippas (fiddly) or velcro (Sometimes rubbed) and i love that these are easy to adjust to a good fit using poppers. It requires a lot of washing to get up to full absorbency but once you get there the nappy is really absorbent so i dont need to boost very much. Baby is only 4 months old though so only time will tell if it is still enough when baby is weeing a bigger volume.

Very easy to use and great absorbency - I boost it with a hemp insert for our heavy wetter and it lasts the 12h night with a wool cover!
Very happy and going to buy some more.

So soft and great absorbency

Best night nappy I have found! No need for boosting as it come with a beautifully soft booster already. So soft against toddlers skin. Holds lots of wet.
Because it so absorbent it takes a long time to dry so I have a few on rotation to allow for this.
I used with the Petit Lulu poppers wrap.

I have used this nappy for my 4 month old a few times now and have not experienced any leaks. The longest he’s worn it is for 13 hours (with both the long and short boosters) and it still wasn’t completely soaked through by morning. He’s a frequent feeder too! It’s worked well with the Petit Lulu pull up cover, and the Petit Lulu poppers wrap. It’s really soft and looks so comfortable. Highly recommended!

Brilliant night nappy - best I’ve found

I’ve tried many night nappies- bamboozles, little lamb bamboo, close pop in with night booster, hybrids, daisy birds ... and this is by far the best I’ve found and the only one I can rely on every night with a heavy wetter.
All the others needed massive boosters and still completely saturated, this needs none and is still only half wet in the morning.
Super soft, easy to fit, quicker than most of the others to dry. I have the organic one and two velour ones - all equally good. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

The best night time nappy!

These are the best night nappies. Super absorbant, soft, easy to fit between the legs. We were using Bamboozles but found the elastics made my daughter cry and it was hard to get a good fit. I bought these in the black Friday sale and I'm so glad I did as they are perfect for us! We get 12+ hours with them on and that's only using the long booster, not the short booster too. A big thumbs up from us!

Thirsty and soft

Much softer than regular version and thirstier. Also the fabric seem to be a bit more stretchy so better fit. I highly recommend!
