Nappy Overview

The Bumper nappy is based on the very popular onesize Bumble nappy however the Bumper is much larger and designed for older/larger toddlers.

The Bumper reusable nappy is fastened using a Nappi Nippa (purchased separately) . This means you can get the perfect fit by crossing over tabs if required.

The booster pulls out like a tongue to help drying but it is not detachable.

The whole inner of the Bumper nappy is fleece lined which keeps the child feeling dry but is also ideal if you live in very hard water as fleece will always remain soft. The Bumper is a very absorbent nappy and excellent as a night time nappy for heavy wetters.

The Bumper is made in the UK by a Mum sewing at home. The Bumper is a very clever and thoughtful nappy design we like a lot.

Sizing

The Bumper is an extra large nappy (60cm x 60cm before elastication)

It is suitable as a size 3 nappy for babies/toddlers approximately 30-50lbs.

Please be aware of size measurements when ordering and do not underestimate how large the nappy is! This is NOT a slim nappy! The Bumper is not recommended for babies under 35lbs.

How do I use it?

The Bumper is a two part nappy so it needs a wrap over the top. The best waterproof wrap choices for the Bumper nappy are:

Motherease Airflow XL or XXL

Your usual onesize or Standard XL wrap will NOT fit over the nappy.

The Bumper is ideal as a night time nappy and often does not need any futher boosters due to the very high absorbency offered by the nappy.

Nappy Fabric

The Bumper nappy is made of terry cotton and is fully fleece lined inside. The nappy can be tumble dried on high if required.

Easy Peasy Care Guide - Nappies

Prewash nappies twice before first use
Wash every 2 days
Run a rinse/Prewash nappies before your main wash cycle
Use a full dose of detergent according to your detergent packaging for heavily soiled items
No harsh stain removers or bleach.
Wash at 40-60 degrees
Do not overload your washing machine aim for 3/4 full when wet.
No fabric softeners. They will reduce absorbency.
Max wash temperature 60 degrees.
Ideally line dry or occasionally tumble dry on cool.

Perfect for heavy wetting toddlers

This nappy is exactly what we needed. We were getting frequent leaks at night and now we don't. Job done. We use for our 3 year old without any boosters at the moment and with a XXL airflow.

easy peasy holds the wee

This enormous nappy does a good the job of holding in the night time wee for my medium sized 2 year old. Despite being a little under the guideline weight it can easily be overlapped to fasten tighter, so no leaking problems when used with the biggest morherease wraps. Bulky, bit that's ok for nights. I started with 2, but with indoor drying on airer fairly slow will need 4 to have enough for one a night.

Worth every penny

Bought these for my daughter as although she was only 2years 8months the bumbles no longer fitted & needed more padding to stay dry. So pleased we bought them, even if they are only used for a few months until she's free of nappies at night time as we are now back to dry pj's in the mornings plus they will be kept for our next child and will undoubtedly sell well after that.

only nappies that last all night

I use the bumper nappies at night on my toddler - I stuff them with extra boosters & also use an extra absorbent long bamboo & microfibre booster & use a mother ease airflow wrap. This usually lasts my heavy wetter all night. I also have the bamboo bumpers which are even more absorbent but take much longer to dry. I could use this in the day too with less boosting but it's quite chunky under clothes.
I'm a big fan of all the easy peasy nappies - reliable & versatile.
