Thrive Small Wet Bag Overview

The Thrive small bags are perfect for storing nappies for a shopping trip or playgroup session.

Features include a handle so it can hang on doors, hooks or pushchair handles.  Each bag fastens with a zip to keep any smells inside.

The bags are also great for storing used cloth sanitary pads.

Sizing

The bag measures 22 x 27cm.
The medium bags will hold about 1-2 reusable nappies.
If using for cloth sanitary pads (CSP) then it will hold 5-6 pads.

 

How do I use it?

Just like a nappy, they are designed to keep wetness in, but they won't tolerate being soaked. They are perfect for storing dirty nappies, damp wipes, swim suits in a towel etc - but if you use them for something really wet (like rinsed, unwrung CSP, very wet wipes, or a swim suit that's not been wrung out) then they will wick moisture.

Can be washed with your nappies or normal laundry on up to 60 degrees.

Thrive Care Guide

  • Prewash nappy 2-3 times before first use.
  • Store the nappy in a wet bag or dry bucket until wash day
  • Put through a rinse cycle before the main wash
  • You can wash at 40 or 60 deg using a full dose of detergent
  • Use a long cotton wash. Nappies love a long wash
  • No harsh stain removers or bleach.
  • No fabric softeners. They will reduce absorbency.
  • Ideally line dry or tumble dry on cool.
  • Avoid putting on a radiator

Thrive Warranty

Thrive offer a 12 month warranty as long as the nappies have been subject to reasonable use. The warranty extends to all parts of the nappy such as fastenings, elastics and PUL.

You must have followed Thrive washing instructions, keep them away from heat sources such as radiators and avoid nappy creams except those approved (all those on The Nappy Lady site are approved). 

Their warranty does not cover:
*Leaking - This is normally a fit or absorbency issue.
*Nappy Inserts
*Nappies bought Pre-Loved/Second Hand or via BST groups on Facebook.
 

Thrives decision on any warranty  claim is final.

I love the Baba+Boo wetbags. This is perfect for holding 1-2 nappies. I send these to nursery for the dirties to be sent back in.
Fabric is so soft. If the nappies weren't double gussetted I'd be buying a few of those too.
And I absolutely love this farm yard print.

Great for 2 smaller nappies or for a larger nappy

I bought this so that I wouldn't have to change my little one out of a resuable and into a disposable when out and about on a local outing. It's great for that. I can fit a nappy, a wrap and a liner in there nicely. Probably, a couple of smaller all in ones, like the Mio Solos would fit too. Cute pattern.

Excellent wet bags

I made the move from a bucket and I haven’t looked back. These are excellent. I have a rotation of large bags available for daily changes then plenty of the small ones for trips out, trips to nursery plus a keep a change of clothes in them for potty training accidents

Haven’t looked back. In between washes I rinse the contents in the washing machine to stop smells getting me 2/3 days

Well sized for short outings

Well made, cute design and easily fits 2-3 dirty nappies when out for shorter trips. The one thing that could make this even better would be to have a popper on the carrying strap like on their medium sized bag, or even just a larger loop. Good purchase.

Perfect size for out and about

We use this wet bag while out and about for a few hours. Fits about 2 or 3 nappies. We have a larger one for at home or longer journeys away from home, but I wanted a small one that would fit in the nappy bag for when we’re just out in the day. This fits the bill perfectly! No leakage so far and gorgeous patterns. We loved it so much, we bought two (for wash days). Recommended!

Lovely small wet bag. I can get 2 cloth nappies in it, or 1 nappy a change of clothes and some wipes so perfect for a quick trip somewhere in case of emergencies. It's a lovely design too.

I’ve used this bag for carrying spare nappies when out and so far it has been perfect for the job. It can easily hold 2 spare nappies and wraps.

I like this bag, it hangs around in the bottom of my change bag for emergencies. It is small so doesn’t take up much space. It will fit 2 nappies in so good for occasional use with 2 in cloth but not a long day out.

Got 2 of these wet bags to bring wipes on the go and to transport wipes to nursery. We wet our wipes in advance so needed something that definitely wouldn't soak or leak through and these wet bags delivered.

They're a great size for wet wipes or would comfortably fit 2 dirty nappies plus wipes if using them for out and about so ideal for a number of different uses. I'd say they would safely hold wrung out swimwear on the way back from the pool also as I have never seen any leakage whatsoever from these wet bags.

They wash great, they dry quickly, and I'd recommend them highly!

Perfect for 1-2 nappies

I bought this bag as I was using disposable bags for dirty nappies when out and about and wanted something more eco friendly. This bag is perfect to pop in the nappy bag. It fits 1-2 nappies in, which makes it ok for trips out with older kids that don't need changing as often. I've not found it leaks or anything yet and love the print. I will be getting another so I have a spare on washing day, although it doesn't take long to dry anyway.
