MoonCatcher menstrual disc is a shallow, wide and flexible bowl made from 100% medical silicone.

If you have struggled to get other discs to stay in place, expecially during excersise, then the mooncatcher disc might be more suitable for you as it has a firmer rim than other discs we stock.

Prior to insertion the MoonCatcher disc is pinched by the middle so that it becomes about the size of a tampon and is then placed high up in the vagina to collect menstrual fluid for up to 12 consecutive hours.
No suction is needed to keep the disc in place. When the MoonCatcher is full, just remove, empty and rinse it in water. It is now ready to be reinserted.

How To Use Your Mooncatcher Menstrual Disc

1. Wash your hands with soap.

2. Wash your MoonCatcher in water. If you want, you can use a neutral soap.

3. Pinch the middle of the rim of your MoonCatcher so that it forms a figure 8

4. Insert the pinched disc into your vagina.
Release and push the MoonCatcher further back and down aiming towards your tailbone using a finger or your thumb.
