Eco Baby Christmas Present Ideas

#tnlambassador I know I'm not the only one feeling upset by the closure of Tots Bots and Close Parent in the last week, and it's making me really want to support the brands and retailers with values close to my heart (aka. trying to do better things for our babies and our planet!) And as I've been told it's five weeks to Christmas (!!) I thought it could be a nice idea to have some gift/stocking filler ideas.

PLAY MAT

Specifically the Little Lovebum Grow With Me mat is a great gift for a new baby (or mum) it has absorbency but isn't too thick making it easily washable. It can be used from in the newborn days for baby's play/tummy time (or for mama to sleep on at night if experiencing leaking boobs) and can later become a mattress protector for potty training, picnic blanket, etc. It also has a big saving this Black Friday

WASHABLE CHANGE MAT

I am a big believer in buying baby gifts that are practical (but pretty ) rather than adding to a pile of Impractical Stuff for new parents. I believe washable change mats are the KEY gift for any new babies (in cloth or not) as they're so soft, pretty, useful for our and about, and washable. I use mine full time at home rather than a traditional change mat and they stand up wonderfully to regular washing or spot cleaning on the pul side. Some are super slim for travel or some have absorbency and are padded to make them nice for playtime too (though of course smaller than a playmat!)

POPPETS WIPE SOLUTION

I'll be popping one or two of these in my 5 month olds stocking as he has plenty of toys and clothes, these are lovely practical gifts that still feel a little luxurious as they have lovely scents (or a natural option!) and make wipes feel so soft and moisturising for baby.
