Belt Overview
The Petit Lulu Nappy Belt is the simplest nappy backup while practicing EC (Elmination Communication). The nappy belt is used to hold in place (and easily remove) a square / prefold from around baby. The belt is the perfect accessory when practising EC.
The Petit Lulu nappy belt is used instead of Nappi Nipps or pins to hold the absorbent nappy in place. The nappy belt will keep the nappy on sumo wrestler style. The nappy pad is tucked into the belt at the front and back of baby.
You can use the nappy belt without a water proof cover on the top to allow for quick and easy awareness that the nappy is wet and a "miss" has happened. If you prefer you can place a waterproof cover over the top to protect furniture from wetness however in this case I would recommend you consider the Petit Lulu Minimal nappy instead.
It can also be use to hold a prefold in place just to catch an accident for a training child or maybe in the summer when little one is just playing inside.
Sizing
Designed to fit 5-13kg (12-27lbs).
Adjustable by making a knot on elastic inside the Belt.
How do I use it?
Put the belt around babies waist and then position the nappy either around baby or pad folded between their legs sumo wrestler style.
Pull the belt over the top of the nappy pad so that it's positioned a few inches away from the edge of the nappy to keep it secure.
When you want to put baby on the potty you can pull the front or back of the nappy down releasing it from the belt, so they are on the nappy very quickly. Afterwards place the nappy back under the belt.
When you need to change the pad you can do this with the child standing up or with a younger child laying down.
Nappy Fabric
100% polyester.
Colour varies but always unisex.
