Kit Overview
The Wizard UNO Part-Time Nappy Package provides you with a days worth of cloth nappies to allow for washing every night.
This package comes with:
- 12 x Uno Nappies (Either newborn or Onesize)*
- 3 x Boosters
The Wizard Uno Kits come pre-made to us direct from Mother-ease in sealed kit boxes. We do not know what colours or prints will be in them. It is not possible to change the kit contents. If you would prefer to choose your prints/colours Wizard Unos are available to purchase separately.
Nappy Overview
The Mother-ease Wizard Uno Stay Dry is an ultra slim ultra reliable reusable nappy.
The Wizard Uno all in one has the waterproof cover and absorbent core attached so no stuffing or inserts to fold. The Wizard Uno is is the most convenient choice in the Motherease range as it requires no preparation before use, it's as close as you can get to a disposable nappy while being a washable one!
The absorbent nappy cord has the famous exclusive Motherease Stay Dry layer which is dry to the touch even when wet. When I first used this nappy I thought my daughter hadn't wee'd even though she'd been wearing her nappy for 3 hours, this obviously concerned me so I went to change her anyway! When I got out the new clean nappy I could immediately tell she had been weeing as the new nappy was lighter, the staydry insert really was that good and having done 15,000+ nappy changes between my own three children it takes a lot to surprise me!
Sizing
Wizard Uno Onesize is available in two sizes:
- XS Newborn 6-12lbs (Version 2 new 2022) - New for V2 the newborn now has length altering poppers and an increased umbilical cord "dip" at the front.
Onesize 8-35lbs
How do I use it?
The waist is adjustable through a series of poppers and each nappy has an elasticated waist and back.
You’ll see from the photo the poppers are vertically positioned in two rows which in my testing gives the securest popper fastening far superior than other popper fastening nappies which are in one row
Wizard Uno Stay Dry have hygienic washability and are quick drying. Wash water flows through easier and more effective water extraction through spinning. The Wizard Uno dries as quickly as any separated pocket nappy.
If you find your baby needs additional absorbency as they get older you can place additional boosters between cover and absorbent core for naps or overnight .Added boosters auto eject in the wash.No need to unstuff soiled nappies.
Many people find the Wizard Uno can be used for their baby at for night time with additional boosters HOWEVER for a heavier wetter we strongly recommend you use the sister nappy Wizard Duo with the night time insert, or a bamboozle with Motherease Airflow cover as these combinations have even higher capacity for night time.

Why is Mother-ease Stay Dry fabric better than fleece?
Mother-ease do not use fleece in their reusable nappies or on nappy boosters like other brands do. Fleece slows absorption and that can cause leaks so Motherease had their own special staydry fabric created.
Mother-ease Staydry fabric is entirely different to any other staydry fabric on the market and it is made JUST for them! Mother-ease use a specially knit fabric that creates a stay dry barrier by the weave in the fabric. It allows the wetness to easily pass through, but not back. Keeping the babies skin dry to the touch.
Another neat aspect is that they include a cooling yarn as well. This keeps the temperature inside the nappy lower - cooler for baby and reduces the growth of bacteria.
Longevity of all in one nappies
Please remember as with any all in one nappy that the Wizard Uno nappy will undergo A LOT of washing as it's washed after every single use. The waterproof cover is the most important part as it keeps babies clothes dry however this part is also the most delicate. If you are planning more children then also consider the Wizard Duo two part system as the wrap poppers off separately so can be easily replaced if the cover should wear over time.
As with any all in one nappy they are not guaranteed to remain 100% leak-free without boosting for the duration of one child birth to potty. You may find you need to start boosting your diapers at some point in your 2.5 year(approx) journey. It is also always recommended to change your child's diaper at least every 2 hours to avoid leaks.
