Size 2 - difficult to manage flap 12 February 2024 | Joanna
We got a size 1 with the trial box and really liked how comfortable and soft it was, but by 1 year it was a little tight.
We went up to size 2 expecting the same nappy, but there is the addition of a long and difficult to manage flap. It’s an attached booster, I think.
The flap gathers up and twists inside the nappy when the baby is walking around and looks quite uncomfortable. It also adds an extra challenge during nappy changes with a wriggly baby. We are considering cutting the flap out, but this will reduce absorbency.
We have also found the Velcro edges can rub on her hips if we’re not very very careful about positioning - also quite difficult with a wriggly baby.
As stated in the description, these do take a long time to dry. This can’t be overstated they take a very long time to dry.
They were super cheap, so overall I am quite happy, but I wouldn’t buy any more than our current stash.

I purchased 2 x little lamb nappies for my granddaughter, they are not very absorbent and I was disappointed with the product and would not purchase them again.

So far these are our go to Night time nappy. No leaks and not caused any skin irritation. Overall a good fit on out super slim but long boy. Will definitely buy bigger sizes as we grow. Only downside to these are the Velcro tabs, sometimes come undo in the wash. Great service from the Nappy lady, delivered quick and well packaged.

Great and highly absorbent 03 September 2022 | Robyn
We have been using these as night nappies for my son and so far have had no leaks, however he is only 3 month old so I don’t know how well they will fair when he’s older. However, he is a heavy wetter over night and they seem bomb proof! I would highly recommend as a night nappy or when on a long journey/ day out. We use with a little lamb wrap which works well for us. He is on the chunkier side and they fit well. Only given it 4 stars as they do become quite tough and occasionally need a tumble dry after we line dry them to soften them which works well. The Velcro is good but sometimes seems a little less sticky unless in exactly the right place. I’m hoping that as he fills out a bit this won’t be a problem. Definitely worth purchasing if you want high absorbency and great containment!

Little lamb bamboo nappies are one of my favourite and most absorbent nappies which I used in the early days in two part systems for containment and poonami proofing on my newborn during day nappies, and use at night currently. I also used size twos for flooding wees as the first nappy of the day and as night nappies on my eldest for a long time.
I’ve dropped a star for sizing. For me and my daughters on the 25-50th centiles these are nappies which will last a long time. However any tall/75th centile and above the length of time parents will get out of size one or two will be less and not as financially economical.
You can combine this with any wraps. I found sock marks were more common with a baby who was slightly chunkier (my eldest) with little lamb wraps but found combining with an airflow or fleece/wool wrap stopped any sock marks. The great thing about these little lamb wraps is they are versatile in terms of when you can use them and what you can combine with them - they are a fantastic all rounder and one of my favourite nappies in both cloth nappy journeys.

I absolutely love this nappy! Bought as LG was leaking through her previous night nappies AND they were struggling to fit round her waist despite being the correct size for her weight (19 lb 5oz, 75th centile). So sized up and tried a different brand. I highly recommend. They're easy to put on, last through the night with one night feed, and feel so soft!
I also definitely could have bought the size down for her as these have oodles of room in them for her.

We’ve been using size 1 little lambs nappies at night for my daughter since she was 1 month old and they were great. These however are even more soft and squishy meaning she can have the padding without the limited leg movement. Very impressed.

We researched nappies carefully and with trepidation before investing in a birth to potty kit. I am so, so pleased we went with Little Lamb. These nappies take everything in their stride, from explosive breastfed nappies to soaking up everything our heavy wetter deposits into them, day or night. They work beautifully with the Little Lamb wraps. These are our trusty, everyday nappy and we love them!
They do take a long time to dry. We've found various workarounds to help get them to dry, and to make sure we have back up nappies in our stash (turns out Terry nappies are an easy, absorbent alternative, perfect for nights - who knew?!) They also do go crisp in hardwater areas but reading up on best ways to wash will help you keep these nappies soft and a pleasure to use.
We love natural fibres and big cotton bottoms! For anyone looking for a slim fit and something akin to disposable style these might not be the nappy for you. I think LL is a nice hybrid between old and new - the modern day, no fold, no fuss, Terry nappy.
Had various interactions with Little Lamb directly and found them friendly and flawlessly helpful.

Soft and comfortable despite multiple washes, velcro is durable and elastics haven't given a bit. Lasts all nigit if needed, excellent containment and comes with a soft and fluffy liner. Only comment would be they come up quite short so we had to size up early.

Super absorbent and super soft 13 December 2021 | Emily
The only reason I am giving a 4/5 is because little lambs fitted nappies come up short. My little girl is 21 months and a dainty 23lb yet I have had to go up to size 3 (35lb+) as she is just a bit too tall for her size 2s now. However, her size 2s also fitted her way before the weight range meaning she wore them from 6months to 20 months which really is great for a sized nappy. I love the fact that these nappies stay so soft even in my hard water area and are absorbent enough for my daughter to go 12 hours at night. My size 2s never lost elasticity and the Velcro is perfect still. The fleece liner they come with is fluffy and large so covers all but the hip area making her feel dry all night long. I would recommend these to any one with a heavy wetting little one.

I used these in size 1, excellent at containing explosive breast milk poo. Super absorbent. Love the fluffy fleece liners. Sized up now my baby is getting chunkier. Great fit. Take a while to dry but had done some research before buying and expected this from bamboo nappies.

Bought these to use as night time nappies and they are just what I expected. I'm using them on my 6 week old (I didnt want to buy size 1 just to use for a short time and then have to buy the size 2) and they fit very well and havent leaked yet!

This was the first reusable nappy I bought after using disposables for my first child. I really wanted to change to cloth, and although this nappy is perhaps a bit bulky for the daytime (size 2), it is perfect for the night. My second child would always wet through disposables, her vest, babygrow, sleeping bag and sheets. The little lamb bamboo shaped nappy has put an end to that - thank you!!
They do take an age to dry, but it's worth it for baby and parents to have a fairly peaceful night without disturbing the whole family for a nappy change!

Very reliable, easy to fit and very reasonable. I completely agree with another reviewer who mentions that they are bulky, but no more so than a boosted pocket. We use these in the day with no leaks.

Lovely soft, fluffy nappies. These were part of our first sizeable new nappy purchase and we’re well worth it. They come with very soft liners (I think to keep baby dry?) and are great. Do take a while to dry so I may need to buy a couple more for winter.

Really happy with these nappies. I use them for night and day. Yes, they need a long time to dry, but they are reliable, no leaks! Great discounts and offers from LL too. I won't waste my money on other pocket nappies from now on. They are bulky, but the pocket nappies are too ones you boost them, so no difference to me. And I finally don't have to change all the clothes for each nappy change! The bamboo version remains softer than the cotton one and as drying time I don't see much of a difference to be honest. You won't be disappointed with these LL nappies!

We have used all sizes of these nappies throughout our little ones nappy time, now just for night nappies. Good absorbency and containment depending on wrap, only issue is the velcro tabs don't hold fast during the the wash and have a tendency to unfasten and attach to anything and everything, even the new ones so it's not lint build up.

Great Little Lambs As Usual 03 January 2021 | Farrah
We used Little Lamb bamboo nappies with our eldest 5 years ago so this was a no brainer. Still amazing quality and they last 12 hours through the night. Amazing service from The Nappy Lady.

Great night nappy sistem, I wish I'd bought them earlier! I will definitely use them with my next child from much earlier on. I have just one complaint, I did't know that there were the fleece liners already included in every nappy, otherwise I would not have bought an extra 10 fleece liners.

Soft fabric, vet slow drying 13 October 2020 | Celia
Very nice feel, but became quickly more rough after a few washes. Drying is very slow.
The shaped nappy system is also not comfortable for the baby, to whom one must fit two parts of a nappy.
I also don’t like the fact that LL makes them in Turkey, instead of the UK/EU.

Great absorbancy but dodgy velcro 03 October 2020 | Cathy
We already use these so knew to expect a great level of absorbancy but unfortunately the Velcro has already become lose as the stitching has come out. Means they aren't as secure but once the wrap is over the top to hold them in place they work ok. Pity because I have 3 from a previous older batch that are still perfect.

I use these nappies on my baby girl at night, they do need a liner or two but last all night with no leaks. Perfect for us although they do take a while to dry even on a hot day on the line. Fine if you have an airing cupboard or something.

Loved these until baby grew tall 15 September 2020 | Eleanor
These were my favourite newborn nappy (I also had Terry Squares and Bumgenius all-in-ones). I used them with a Motherease Airflow wrap and they combined top containment, neat looks (and cute with the wrap) and low-to-medium faff (very easy to get on, just a two-part system so a bit more than an all-in-one). I used them night and day and found them good for 12-15hrs with my newborn overnight. If I were starting again with what I know now, I would have more shaped nappies and fewer all-in-ones, as the containment is so much better. My baby is tall, so outgrew size 1 quite quickly and moved into bambinex, as recommended by the nappy lady for tall babies, which are also great. I have found drying times for shaped bamboo nappies to vary between an afternoon outdoors on the line on a great drying day to 18-30hrs on a heated airer indoors and 2 days on an ordinary airer on a cold day.

We’ve always loved the little lamb bamboos-perfect under a wool wrap with a nice fat booster for nighttime’s. Would say they’re a little small (especially if you occasionally tumble dry them-we live in the wettest part of England-don’t judge us!) do take an age to dry so I may end up buying more!

We have used the little lamb nappy with a wrap overnight for my heavy wetting grandson and it can easily go 10/12 hours ( with no poop) the stay dry insert keeps bubba nice and dry. We will be adding more to our collection. The bamboo does take slightly longer to dry but not by much.

Little lamb bamboo nappy is the most absorbent nappy I have ever known and used. It does look a bit bulky but it's very soft, so comfortable for baby. Accompanied by the little lamb wrap, these are pretty indestructible! Perfect for a heavy wetter at bedtime.

We were really delighted to receive these nappies when nappies had become really difficult to obtain at the start of the lock down. With a very precious newborn grandson we felt very protective - these nappies are perfect in a time like this and have given us peace of mind that our grandson will always have nappies!

This is a great nappy that soaks lots of urine. It easily last around 5 hours with no additional booster, only the one that is attached to it. It also comes with its own liner, which is really soft.
The size 2 is a perfect fit for our 18 months old who is of average height and weight.
It becomes a bit coarse after washing, but with the liner it should feel okay when on. It does take a long time to dry, on an airer it's approximately a day and half.
We use it with the blueberry capri wrap and it fits great with no leaks.
These nappies were recommended by the Nappy Lady and I cannot fault them, as well as the service which was excellent.

Love these nappies which we’ve used since birth (born just under 7lb). They’re super soft and don’t leave marks on baby’s legs. We also have some bamboozles but always reach for these first. So far seem to be pretty bombproof under a wrap. I find they are almost dry in24 hours then i I finish then in the tumble dryer. Great value too, would recommend.

I got an entire supply of these 2 years before consulting nappy lady and her recommendation. Good value and price. However, size 1 barely fits my newborn. The top nappy edge and velcro is hard and has repeatedly caused chafing of the front abdominal skin as tightening the nappy (for a smaller baby) causes the extremely wide and hard velcro to slant inwards into the skin (same applies to the LL wraps). The velcro tabs are also unnecessarily bulky. In my opinion, the totsbots stretch are much better as it is less bulky and well-fitting. (Size 2 totsbots fit both my newborn and 2 year old perfectly).

These bamboo nappies are soft and easy to use. I also have some of the cotton nappies and I find these bamboo ones actually dry more quickly and are easier to fit. They absorb well and we’ve only had a couple of leaks, though that’s probably because we’ve left the nappy on too long. Would definitely recommend. Excellent advice also provided by The Nappy Lady!

Using these at night with an airflow wrap over the top. The size 1 are a great size for my baby who was 6lb 6oz at birth. Never had a leak and he seems comfortable. We use a fleece liner as they're a little scratchy due to living in a hard water area. Don't take too long to dry and aren't too bulky.

I have been using this nappy with a booster for night time for my toddler. I've had no leaks unlike with disposables and they have been great! I don't find they take as long to dry as other people have experienced, I can usually get them dry within a day. Would definitely recommend as a good night or day time nappy.
