I found it really too bulky for my 5 months old. Maybe it'll fit better later on. But the nappies really dry super fast

Fast drying & great containment 18 April 2022 | Katie
I really liked this nappy, it’s very absorbent, incredibly soft, it dries so quickly & has great containment. The reason for 3stars is that even though I put the tabs back before washing, they came off in the wash which meant the velcro picked up bits in the wash. They’ve done this every time I’ve washed them & the velcro already looks bad. This is the only reason I didn’t use these nappies full time & I keep the couple I have as spares.

Product provided free of charge as part of ambassador role.
The description doesn’t lie when it says these are almost dry straight out of the wash! They really are incredibly fast drying making them a great nappy for winter when drying can be a struggle (for me anyway!).
I like the addition of the rise poppers. We’ve been using this from around 1 month, still using is now at nearly 3 months on the smallest rise. So you should get plenty of wear from it. Although it is rather bulky and I don’t think I’d want to use it straight from birth for this reason.
Has stayed super fluffy in my hard water.

These are so good, they aren't the absolute max absorbency you can have but they are a cracking 2-part. Very very easy to put on and dry super quick.

This is a lovely, soft nappy. It is not as absorbent as some, being microfibre, but that means it is very quick drying - it is almost dry when it comes out of the machine. Every now and then a velcro tab comes undone in the wash and the nappy sticks to another one. Being a narrower cut between the legs, it can be difficult for the fleece liners to fit width-wise and they usually need to be poked back in the leg holes when putting the nappy on!

Fast drying, but ages fast 23 August 2021 | Cynthia
We have been using these for nearly 6 months. At first they were fantastic, but now we get leaks almost every time. So if you have a heavy wetter like us, avoid. Also, like any fleece, after several washes they don't look fluffy any longer as the fibres lump together. We now got some extra boosters so we can continue to use these, so hopefully that works. They do dry very fast though, so that part is convenient. They will dry within a couple of hours on the airer by the radiator.

We purchased these just over a year ago, and they are now completely useless. The Velcro just doesn’t hold - we have tried cleaning it etc as advised by TNL but it still doesn’t stick, meaning that the nappy rolls down and the velcro rubs my little ones thighs. So disappointed as we have a full stash of a nappy that is now useless. Beyond disappointed. Containment and drying speed are excellent, but doesn’t help when we can’t use the nappy at all any more!

No leaks but terrible Velcro 13 January 2021 | Kate
These nappies are brilliant for the daytime for containing leaks. They also dry super fast which is perfect for our situation of living in a flat with limited drying space and no tumble dryer.
My only complaint is that the Velcro fastenings are terrible, they’ve not stuck well since the very beginning and are getting worse. One of our nappies developed a fault and the nappy lady was very helpful and replaced it. This nappy has much better Velcro so maybe they have changed it as it since we bought our nappies. It’s a terrible shame as the nappies are great apart from this and I imagine we’ll need to buy a whole new set for our second baby due to this problem.

I found this nappy just too huge and bulky. I appreciate my baby might be at the lower end of the size 2 but these are ridiculously big. I much prefer the Wizard Unos which are slim fitting. I won't be using them.

1st time cloth users with our 16 week old baby boy. Teddy’s are so easy to use and they dry super quickly which is great at this time of year. They are really soft against baby’s skin, have had a coupe of leaks (think from compression due to the micro fibre) but overall very happy with these nappies.

I was recommended these nappies after filling out the questionnaire (also SO helpful!) I'm a reusable nappy newbie and was worried I wouldn't find anything to get my money's worth with a slightly chunky (in the loveliest way!) 15 mo. I was recommended these along with the petite crown catcher wrap and together they're doing a great job. Every nappy I've tried before this has left marks on her legs or tummy but these are so soft and so quick drying! The wrap and the nappy goes up to 40ibs so I feel I've invested my money wisely with these. They're quite chunky but I just think this makes them look all the cuter! Plus, the extra popper that has been added on means I'll be able to use them again with another baby in the future. Definitely recommend!

My baby LOVES this nappy. It seems super comfy to me, and when she is wearing it, she is happy. She was so fussy, the slightest wee and she wants a change, even when barely damp. With this nappy, she doesn’t want it changed until it’s wet, lasts her much longer than her more absorbent ones 😂😂

We use these nappies almost all the time - super soft, and although they are said to be not as absorbent as others, still, we have had very few leakages. The drying time is really fast, they are easy to put on and take off, and with the extra poppers they have fitted my long lean baby well from when we got them (I think he was about 10 or 11 lb) and look like they will go on fitting for a good while. We use them with the Motherease poppered wraps (XS or S at the moment) which seems a good combo. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Do exactly what they're supposed to and sometimes more 12 June 2020 | Ella
I'm now onto my third baby in teddies as all my boys are chunky. The drying time is superb and although they are bulky this never seems to bother my baby.
As others have said, the velcro isn't as good as on some other nappies, but on TNL's recommendation last time I just gave them a quick going over with a pin to get all the bits out that get stuck over time (mainly hair) and that really improves their stickiness so I'll do the same once it gets to that stage this time. You do always get at least once come undone in the wash though, even though I do them up religiously and double check before they go in. This is a bit frustrating as you inevitably get at least one clump of stuck-together-stuff. I also find that if you have big babies who don't potty train by 3 years old they won't take them right through. In the end with my eldest we couldn't find any real nappies that would and had to switch to disposable pull ups for that last bit.
As long as there is no detergent build up on them I find the absorbancy really good and I'm not sure why other people find them lacking here. At the moment we're using them overnight as well due to CV19 shortages meaning we're not able to get hold of the night nappies we want yet. My five month old is not a heavy wetter but all the same I've been really surprised and impressed. We don't get leaks and he sleeps fine in them - they'll do a ten hour stretch and still not be absolutely sodden by the morning, which is amazing. They're also very light so very comfortable.

I was recommended these by the nappy lady and they have been perfect for our situation. We have used these from birth on our super long and big baby and they have fitted great. We use them during the day and have had no leaks as long as we use a good wrap with them. Sometimes boost with a bamboo booster if we are heading out for longer but as baby still very little not too important at this stage.
Baby is 10 weeks old and nappies are still super soft and only been tumble dried a couple of times. They dry super fast so tumble drying isn't necessary.
I would highly recommend these for day fitted nappies.

Used size 1 from newborn. Lovely and fluffy, very quick drying - they pretty much come out of the washing machine dry. No leaks even when left 3-4 hours during a nap, great containment even for breastfed poos. I use this alongside little lamb microfibre nappies and wraps for the day only. I prefer the teddies, though I bought them on offer so they were the same price as the little lambs. I love them!

Perfect recommendation! Soft, fluffy, breathable and dries so quickly! 06 April 2020 | Xin
This was recommended to me by TNL after I did the questionnaire, but at the time I didn't have a tumble dryer so drying quickly was a priority. Saying that, even with a tumble drier now, I still totally love these nappies! They come out the washing machine perfectly white, soft, fluffy and almost dry. The only bit that needs drying really is the waistband. I have been known to grab one straight out the machine and give it a quick blow dry with the hair dryer and it's ready to use in 2 minutes! The containment is amazing - I started reusable nappies to be eco and now I find that actually they work much better! With disposables I had to do a complete outfit change at least once a day due to pooslosions. With these nappies, it was pretty rare! So although it might take me an extra minute to do each change, it avoids the 10-15 min stress of cleaning up a full body poo disaster! I used these with just the microbooster they come with, and a fleece liner whilst pre-weaned, changing every 2-3 hours - everything went into the washine machine and came out clean. Now LO is on solids and the poos are pretty substantial, I add a disposable liner on top, it's so thin you don't notice it but makes getting rid of the poo a lot easier. I have size 2 nappies only, and started using them at 4 months - they were quite bulky even with the poppers so vests suddenly became tight - recommend you size up - but now LO is 6.5 months they fit perfectly with no popper adjustment.
The only criticism I have for these nappies is the velcro fasteners don't seem as robust as some of the other nappies - they're still fine right now, but I can see these potentially not lasting more than 1 child.

I haven't used these yet but they feel so soft and comfy. Have washed them a few times to improve absorbency as per instructions and they dry in no time. I feel these will be just as convenient as disposables as I won't have to worry about going to the shops to buy more or making trips out to the wheelie bin shed.

I loved these nappies. We had a selection of different types, various brands, and these are the best. No leaks, very soft and comfy, so quick to dry. Bought size 2 so we could use for a long time and yes they are ENORMOUS on a newborn but she will grow into them I'm sure!

Absorbent and fast drying 07 February 2020 | Mary
These are great nappies for us. Fast air drying, yet very absorbent. They work really well with a motherease airflow wrap.
No leaks of poo or wee. I have a lot of confidence in how well they work for our daughter that I don't need to carry spare clothes for any emergency changes.
After having trouble with other nappies we were so happy that these have worked well for us.

Fat Drying but Saturate Quickly. 12 September 2019 | Katie
Pros and cons with these nappies. Whilst they dry VERY quickly (they’re almost dry when they come out of the wash) and are beautifully soft, I find they saturate very quickly and I have to change them very frequently. Also as they saturate so quickly they tend to leak under compression so aren’t ideal if Baby is in a car seat or a sling.

Adding a bamboo booster should help increase their absorbency

Tried this nappy as I was struggling for a nappy to fit my long and chunky baby. The nappy reminds me of a Russian bear skin hat and made my babies bum look huge. In fact they were completely in practical if he was wearing any clothes. I also didn’t find them absorbent for my heavy wetter, even with a wrap. The material reminds me of a fluffy towel and the wet seems to sit on the babys skin. The positives are. They did look cute as they are fluffy and very soft they don’t take long to dry at all. They also have a good fit for a longer and chunky baby but I personally just found them way too bulky. I think there are other brands out there that offer similar nappies for equal value but better absorbency.

Good containment, quick to dry but bad velcro 11 July 2019 | Patricia
In general I'm quite happy with this nappy. The best things are that it dries very quickly and the containment is very good. On the negative side I find them a bit too bulky and velcro is not good. I've been using them for just 2 months and it's already not working very well.

I used the size 2 Teddy nappies for 3 years and with 2 boys. With a set of 15, I estimate each were washed a minimum of 300 times. I did not use them at night time. I used them with a Motherease wrap, and this fitted over them well.
They are advertised as being super soft. They certainly are on arrival, but as soon as the first wash has been done, they lose that initial super-softness and the fabric starts to clump together. That is not to say though that they are not soft, as they still are, but that shop freshness has gone.
For me, the best part of these nappies was their drying ability. Advertised as being practically dry as soon as they come out of the machine, this is definitely true! It doesn't take much else to complete the drying process and less than an hour on the line or in an airing cupboard and they are ready for use.
For me, the worse part of these nappies was the velcro. Once baby was over 12 months and really started getting active, the simple movement of bending over would losen the velcro. This wasn't a problem in the winter months as a poppered vest would hold everything in place. But in the summer months, when baby was not wearing a vest, this is where trouble began. When the two parts of Velcro totally separated, nappy wrap would hold the nappy to a degree and for a wee this was not a problem. But I found myself getting really stressed when I felt a poo was due as the whole nappy would become completely dislodged, booster, liner, all over the place and on arrival of the poo, although the wrap contained it, it would be everywhere inside it. There was hardly any point in the liner at this stage as it would be scrunched up in a heap and the poo would be everywhere, resulting in a manual clean of poo from nappy, booster and wrap if you do like to minimise the amount of poo going in the washing machine.
After year 2, (by now on baby number 2 and after at least 200 washes), the stitching holding the velcro in place started to give. All that was needed was a little time (sometimes a problem with having a baby) and a sewing machine to go around all the pieces of velcro and after this they continued to hold fine. They were easy to sew through too.
As for the bith to potty part, if your child is not toilet trained until 3 years old and also if they are tall, you will probably have to seek an alternative nappy or pull up after their 2nd birthday. But for those who are toilet trained early, you could use these right through.
Overall, I would recommend them, but with caution for the reasons given. In summary, the quick drying time and softness remains the best feature.

We bought these after being recommended them by The Nappy Lady for our long, slim boy (good prediction!). We cover them in a Rikki wrap and they’ve been perfect. I’ve not needed to boost them so far, the containment is amazing and we’ve even used them as a night nappy when I’ve been a bit lazy with the washing and there isn’t one dry. Couple of bamboo boosters always does the trick. The only thing I would say is a drawback is the how chunky they are, personally it doesn’t bother me but I know people like to look for a slim fitting nappy. We’ve not had to buy special clothes for him to wear this nappy or anything so I wouldn’t say it’s a problem. Very glad of this recommendation and I have recommended them to friends that want to cloth nappy too.

I bought these along with the Motherease Rikki wraps as recommended by The Nappy Lady and I have to say I’m really happy with them. The fabric is really soft on my baby’s skin - my health visitor told me she had never seen a baby with such a beautiful and soft skin on the nappy area!
I also like how quick the fabric dries. I don’t have a tumble drier - and didn’t want to use one anyway - and I never ran out of clean nappies. The fabric is only a little damp when out of the washing machine : an hour outside and it’s dry.
The absorbency is perfect for my daughter. I have never had any leak with them, which I used to have quite often with the disposables.
I would totally recommend, and have already recommended to all the mums I know.

We bought these to boost our stash of nappies as the bamboozle stretchies take so long to dry. They are a good day nappy, beautifully soft, wash well and dry incredibly fast. The velcro is no where near the quality of the bamboozle stretchies but they are well worth having as part of your nappy system. The fit is particularly good on my babys chubby thighs!

If I were going to start my newborn stash again I would buy 20 size 1 teddy's, they are perfect. The fit is lovely, they wash well and dry well. I use them with a paper liner. I use motherease or tots bots wraps on top. No leaks so far! Planning to get a couple of the size 2's when baby gets bigger.

I love these nappies for bedtimes with extra bamboo or hemp boosters - we regularly get through the whole night without needing to change. They are super soft and fluffy and dry ridiculously quickly. They are quite chunky looking but I quite like the big butt look and it just means you may need to size up with the sleepsuits. Will be buying more in the size 2 once my baby outgrows them as they have been the best for getting through the night without leaks.

Dry very fast and stay soft 20 October 2017 | Jenna
These are great if you live in a hard water area with limited space for drying. They dry SO fast its amazing and they stay very soft compared to all of the other nappies I have (miosolo, bum genius, totsbots).
The only thing I would say is that the velcro fastening isn't great, it goes a bit saggy when wet but it has never come undone so it must be secure regardless of how it looks. Also the velcro does look a bit worn and I have followed all the washing instructions to a t including spin speed of the washing cycle!
One other thing, microfibre ocean pollution was a slight concern for me, but I have negated this hopefully by using a guppy bag which collects microfibres in the wash.
Use these with the motherless popper airflows. Great combo, no leaks and fit great on child in the 98th% height.
This review is based on using the nappies for about 2 months.

lovely quick drying nappies 21 October 2016 | Teresa
we bought quite a few of these for our 4th child a while ago and they dried amazingly quickly overnight. They fit a tall child well from about a month old (size2) and remain soft in hard water. Would I purchase again ? probably not, in view of recent findings regarding microfibers polluting the beaches and Oceans sadly.

Really pleased with this nappy and will be buying more.
The size two poppered down fits my 75th centile 11 week old baby really well. This way the tabs are cut means its not too bulky.
My baby has worn this both in the daytime and twice now overnight (with one little lambs bamboo booster) and never had any leaks.
These nappies are super soft and so quick to dry. We do have a tumble drier but I'm sure these will be so handy to have come winter when even with the tumble dryer our bamboo nappies can take a long time to be ready to wear again.
It also helps it looks so super fluffy and cute!

I was happy with these initially as they are good for tall babies and dry quickly. However, after only having used them for a few months, the Velcro has worn out so that it does not stick properly, making them unusable. I much prefer the Tots Bots Bamboozle stretches as these are equally long and are perfect generally. Thank goodness I only bought a few of the teddies.

Great but need to change more often 25 February 2015 | Sophie
I like the feel of them, they are super soft even after washing in hard water and the fit is good, I like the high legs. They dry very quickly. The downside for me is they get wet/feel wet very quickly compared to the other nappies I have (tots bots and wonderoos) and as my baby is still nursing and so wetting a lot they dont last long for him. I think as he gets older and wets less these will be a favorite but for now I prefer the other ones especially for out and about.

Response:
Microfibre does feel different to other fabrics and can seem to "feel" wetter due to the way the fabric holds liquid (also the reason it dries so quick). However the wet feel doesn't mean it's anywhere near capacity. Add a fleece liner inside and it's still dry next to babies skin.
Brilliant, but wish the size 2 was longer! 28 November 2014 | Sylvia
Very happy with these nappies. They wash well (no staining), dry within a few hours inside on an airer, stay fluffy and containment has been good both ways. My only concern is that they fit my 14 month old perfectly just now and I am concerned they might not be long enough to see him through to the potty. (My son is on 75th centile for height).

These are so lovely and soft on the baby's skin, despite hard water area, and absorbent too but drying super fast they almost feel dry from the washing machine. With a good outer cover (we have motherease rikki) they are good at containment and with the extra adjustment it fitted my 2 month old. The only slight downside is that it is fairly bulky especially on my more petite daughter!

Great quick drying nappies 14 October 2014 | Elizabeth
We live in a hard water area and struggle to get nappies dry, so these are fantastic. They seem to fit our 7 month old well and have remained nice and fluffy. We use them with the motherease airflow wraps. We will be purchasing some more. The only thing we have found is that the Velcro doesn't always stay in place on the waistband, as we have to overlap the waist fastenings and the bit underneath has moved on occasion. This could easily be fixed with a longer strip of Velcro on the fastening tabs.

I love this nappy for daytime. They are lovely and easy to use, soft and dry very very quickly!
I like that they are not too bulky but have the option of a booster if required. At present, with a newborn I haven't found this necessary but may do as the little one grows.
I haven't found a downside to these nappies yet. They are lovely

Soft, very absorbent and best of all incredibly quick drying. I was initially put off real nappies by drying times but these are fast to dry even indoors when the heating is off. They're also bombproof when combined with a Motherease wrap, seriously have never had a leak. Size adjusting is working well so far as baby grows - great to only have to buy the one size for the duration of nappy-wearing.

I struggle to find a nappy that comes up high enough to cover the back of babys' bottom and still have enough in front without it sitting on the groin line practically, this one surprised me it comes up above the belly button on my little man and contains everything. No more poo explosions The only down side is that it comes up quite rough when left to line dry, in the tumble dryer it's fine though.

We love these nappies. I had heard they weren't as absorbent as some other brands so we tried an alternative for night time but I find these work the best, day and night. They are soft and fluffy and really easy to use, especially if you are used to disposables as they are basically the same to put on. The fastening enables you to adjust the nappy to fit your baby perfectly. Our little boy is very tall with very chunky legs but a slim tummy but I can get a really snug but comfortable fit for him. At night he wears them with three boosters wrapped around his waist and we can leave them for 12 hours without problems. I am so impressed with these nappies I can't imagine wanting to go back to disposables.
